More then half of brides planning for their weddings - 79%, ranked a wedding video as one of their ten most important services, according to a recent survey of 653 brides. But after the wedding was over, that number went to a whopping 92% with 76% of the brides, moving it from the top ten to the top five most important services.

Among brides who used a friend or relative to video their wedding, 96% said they wished they'd used a professional and would hire one if they had it to do over again. 89% of brides, who didn't have their weddings videotaped at all, say they wished they had.

The survey also showed that 94% of brides say that future brides should at least consider using a professional to videotape their wedding day. Among brides who used the services of a professional videographer, 95% recommend future brides should use a professional.
